Jimmy White: One of the most loved players in world snooker

Jimmy White in Ho Chi Minh City? Yes please! I’ll have some of that. An exciting prospect is in store for fans of pool in general and The Saigon Pool League in particular this weekend. Jimmy ?The Whirlwind’ White is back in town playing some exhibition games and taking on some of the heavy hitters from the league. The event is a joint promotion between the Saigon Pool League and Offshore Investment Brokers. The event coincides with the end of season festivities and will be held at Masse Pool Hall on Nguyen Trai in District 1. In addition to playing some of the league’s finest, Jimmy will be playing top Asian Snooker Player Moh Keen Hoo.

Craig McAvinue has developed OIBME, which marries together Offshore Investment Brokers and himself to use sport in order to achieve their corporate ambitions. OIBME brought Jimmy over in 2016, where he played some exhibition games at Evita’s Cafe and Bar in District 2. The event was a great success and building upon that this year event takes place on June 9th and 10th in the Masse pool club and Bar. The event once again promises to be a huge success.

Craig’s motivation is to create opportunities for him to promote his OIBME brand. An excellent article on how pool (or billiards) can be used for corporate events and networking can be found here. Written by Grant Hall, a personal friend of Craig’s, it outlines the positives in events like these, superbly.
