Vietnam Airlines on 15 January began thrice-weekly flights between Nha Trang (CXR) and Beijing (PEK). The 3,203-kilometre route will be flown by the carrier’s A321s and faces no direct competition. Flights arrive in Beijing at 23:05, with the return service departing the Chinese capital at 00:05. This brings to 20 the number of Chinese routes flown by the SkyTeam member. According to OAG Schedules data the Vietnamese flag-carrier already flies from Nha Trang to five Chinese destinations; Chengdu, Chongqing, Jinan, Ningbo and Shanghai with a total of 20 weekly flights
