The best Italian restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City are normally found around the District 1 area of the city. There is no direct reason for this, apart from it being the centre of town. The standard is high and creating any list of best ofs is challenging. Try any of these though, and you won’t go wrong. Ever since the early days of the Spice Route the Italians have played a part. Rome was involved in the spice trade during the 5th century. It is therefore not surprising that Italian restaurants have sprung up through the region.
